Role & Responsibilities The automation engineer is responsible for automation / maintenance of electronic equipment, vision systems etc. Troubleshooting and maintenance of all assembly machines. Equipment, tooling and process problem resolution. Leading in automation related works, coordinating with supplier and meeting deadlines. Identifying solutions of low cost automation to reduce manpower or increase production with improved quality standards. Coordinates the activities necessary to maintain production timing and parallel production activities. Programming of Servo drives Programming and troubleshooting of single axis and multi axis motion control systems. Experience with implementation of industrial communication protocols like MODBUS, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, etc Maintenance of high voltage testers PLC trouble shooting (Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley) PLC programing New tester building Vision tester commissioning testing and programing Programing of LASER printers HMI programing Programing of Drives Robot complaints attending General documentations and back up . Identifying spare requirement Qualification Graduation in Mechatronics Engineering with 5 to 8 years of experience in the area of automation / maintenance of electronic equipment, vision systems etc. Knowledge of TS 16949 / ISO 9000 related activities would also be preferred. Exposure to production related activities using automatic high speed assembly machines also would be an added advantage. Why join us? You can grow at Aptiv.
