Join the Interventional Radiology / Interventional Endoscopy Team Drs. Chick Weisse and Allyson Berent The Katharine and William Rayner Interventional Radiology (IR) and Endoscopy (IE) Suite is the first facility of its kind, offering complete interventional capabilities for veterinary patients. Well established in human medicine, these minimally invasive procedures provide unparalleled precision in the treatment and diagnosis of complex medical conditions. The IR / IE team is co-led by Drs. Chick Weisse and Allyson Berent, who have pioneered the use of these lifesaving procedures in companion animals. IR / IE Veterinary Technicians provide anesthesia for these cutting-edge procedures, working alongside our highly skilled technicians and our board-certified anesthesiologist. IR/IE Technicians also participate in clinic appointments and communicate post-operatively with clients and assist in patient discharges. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing anesthesia support for cutting-edge IR / IE procedures for patients of all ASA levels Troubleshooting, operating, and maintaining surgical and anesthetic equipment and inventory Working alongside doctors in clinics and communicating with clients Assisting with all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge Participating in research and educational projects
