Responsibilities

  • Safety Implementation
  • To assist implement the Workplace Safety & Health Management System across assigned operational areas.
  • Ensure compliance with WSH Act, regulations and company safety procedures.
  • Safety Coordination
  • Support implementation of the Business Unit safety management system.
  • Site Safety Inspections
  • Travel to operational sites to conduct safety inspections and monitoring of work activities.

  • Prepare safety inspection reports and submit findings to Responsible Person.
  • Prepare and submit WSH reports, and other reports to the BU WSHO as required by the BU safety reporting
  • framework.
  • Follow up on corrective actions and track closure of safety findings.
  • Incident Response
  • Report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Assist in incident investigation and corrective action implementation.
  • Stakeholder Coordination
  • Support safety inspections and audits conducted by clients or authorities.
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist in safety audits and safety programmes.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the Company or Management from time to time.
  • Candidates with strong experience may be considered for a lead role.

Requirements

  • Minimum WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) with valid 2‑year WSHC Refresher (mandatory).
  • Good knowledge of the WSH Act, subsidiary regulations, relevant Singapore Standards and codes of practice.
  • Basic understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 (advantage).
  • Able to conduct inspections, identify unsafe acts/conditions, and support incident investigations.
  • Strong communication and engagement skills with workers and supervisors.
  • Able to work independently and handle safety tasks across multiple locations.
  • Possess driving license with own transport preferred due to multi‑site operational needs.
  • Experience with LTA or CAG projects is an added advantage.
