Requirements

  • Conferred Certificate of Practical Nursing, Associate Degree in nursing, or higher nursing degree AND,
  • Current unrestricted New Mexico or Compact license as a licensed practical or registered nurse. Please include your license number on your resume, AND,
  • At least five (5) years of employment as an LPN or RN, AND
  • At least two (2) years or more of clinical experience with geriatric patients in nursing homes, assisted living, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings or experience as an acute care unit-based educator
  • Preferences
  • Earned bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing.
  • Previous experience as a CNA.
  • Two (2) years experience managing or teaching nursing assistants within a healthcare or educational setting.
  • Experience teaching online, hybrid, or web-enhanced courses.
  • This is a sensitive position that will require a negative urine drug screen and a cleared caregiver's criminal background check. This position may have evening and weekend responsibilities.
