Job Responsibilities Disassemble and assemble transit wheel set assemblies and their components, using proper fixtures, mechanical devices and hydraulic presses. Dimensional inspection, documentation and assembly of transit wheel set assemblies and components. Test requalified or manufactured product to specifications Perform magnetic particle and ultrasonic inspection (if certified) Clean, mask, paint or apply coatings to components. Prepare parts and assemblies for shipment Detailed documentation and recordkeeping
