The primary purpose of the Community Employment Specialist II position is to provide psychosocial treatment facilitation to assist patients in development of community living and vocational skills. Further, the position also focuses on assessing patients living skills, completing job readiness evaluations, developing a client job-placement plan, learning the job skills, duties, and expectations of employers, breaking the job down into manageable components, training the client to perform the job duties, and providing on-site supervision and support for the client. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Range: $35,596.00 - $62,294.00 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. Ability to relate to patients in a supportive and therapeutic manner. Conditional Requirements: Must be willing to obtain CDL to meet programming needs upon hire. Applicant must successfully complete all required initial one-time trainings, Trauma Informed Care training, and hospital/clinical orientations. Successful annual completion of hospital training, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training, discipline specific trainings, and required departmental training. Successful completion of CPR certification every two years as well as any just-in-time training related to changes in hospital/departmental policies and/or corrective actions. ADA physical requirements will be discussed in detail during the interview process This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits program. The normal work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m-4:00 p.m. with flexibility and occasional weekend hours to meet the needs of the program.
