Additional Information

Our Client Our client is an established global fintech organisation helping banks and financial institutions modernise their platforms and connect to blockchain-based payments and settlement. This position focuses on building the technical foundation for payment-capable AI agents. You will design and own the systems that unify LLMs, agent orchestration frameworks, legacy payment rails, and blockchain infrastructure, supporting autonomous machine-to-machine payments, self-pay API access, and automated cross-border financial workflows as the company scales its AI workforce products for commercial use. In this role, you will: Build AI agents: Design and deploy production-ready autonomous AI agents and Digital FTEs with reasoning, planning, and multi-step workflow capabilities, optimizing multi-agent collaboration with frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or OpenClaw. Architect payment systems: Own end-to-end architecture for AI payments, cross-border acquiring, clearing, and hybrid on-chain/off-chain settlement, integrating payment gateways and Web3 stacks, including stablecoin settlement and the x402 protocol. Standardise agent payment frameworks: Establish reusable frameworks, plugins, and toolkits for agent invocation, transaction execution, permission governance, and error fallback logic across multi-agent payment scenarios. Ensure compliance and reliability: Apply guardrails, budget caps, approval pipelines, and cryptographic signatures so autonomous transactions stay deterministic, auditable, and regulation-compliant. Maintain production stability: Optimise system performance, capacity, and security, resolve critical incidents, and maintain 24/7 uninterrupted service. You'll be a great fit if you have: Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field. 3+ years building backend architectures and distributed systems, with hands-on experience developing LLMs and AI agents. Strong backend development skills in Go or Java , with proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node.js. Deep expertise in microservices, distributed transactions, message queues, caching, and database sharding. Practical experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specs, and function calling for GPT, Claude, and Gemini. A track record of taking AI products from prototype to production, including prompt evaluation, tracing, and latency optimization. Fluent English for reviewing technical documentation and daily collaboration.
