Main Purpose of Job Deliver to the People & Purpose mandate and strategy in Namibia. To work proactively with the Business Unit Leaders to shape and implement the talent strategy for Namibia, by supporting the conceptualization, development and execution of talent strategies and core projects, through recommendations and insights on business strategy, industry and market trends and HR best practice. Ensure that relevant national and regional programmes and initiatives are in place, developed and implemented, thereby creating and supporting a distinctive and consistent Talent and Employee Experience across Namibia. Exciting opportunity await you to make an impact by: Contribute to the development of and ensure the successful implementation of all employee life cycle activities for Namibia as linked to the People & Purpose/ Talent Strategy and the Office Strategy. Collaborate, support and ensure alignment to Africa People & Purpose Strategies. Responsible for the development of, successful implementation and maintenance of the following programmes/functions: Retention, Transformative Leadership Culture, Succession Planning, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Culture, Engagement & Wellbeing (CEW), Learning & Development, Global Performance Experience (GPE), Mobility & Secondments, Reward & Analytics, Recognition, Employee Relations (Disciplinary matters, Poor Performance, Incapacity, Grievance, Deloitte Speak-up etc), Remuneration & Benefits, Payroll and Exits. Custodian of firms Policies and Procedures. Ensure compliance to the Labour Act, HR Legislation, Employment Equity Act, and to relevant Regulatory entities such as PAAB and ICAN. Provides client management with sound professional advice and support across broad area of issues arising. Builds professional relationships within service line/s to understand business needs in area/s of responsibility. Generates and implements innovative ideas and solutions within area of responsibility to enhance/renew service offerings. Manages quality and timeliness of day-to-day deliverables of self and team. Recruits, mentors and guides team members and shares expertise and knowledge with counselees on an ongoing basis. Lead a firm wide contribution project. Oversee trainee and consultant training process. Oversee monthly payroll process. Facilitate and prepare accurate and integrated monthly reports. Qualification & Experience Honours Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or Business Management Qualification. Postgraduate qualification is advantageous. 7 years working experience within the HR function. 3 years at Senior Consultant level within the HR function. Academic & practical knowledge of the HR Value Chain. Technical competencies Knowledge of employment laws and IR practices. High capability in MS Office packages. Knowledge of SAGE VIP and SAP SuccessFactors is advantageous.
