Responsibilities

  • Provide RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety) support across allocated programmes
  • Influence system design by delivering safety and reliability recommendations
  • Perform analyses including FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Reliability Predictions, Common Cause Analysis, and Maintainability Analysis

  • Required Skills:
  • Strong experience in RAMS engineering within aerospace or safety-critical industries
  • Background in electrical, electronic, or aerospace systems (e.g. generators, control systems)
  • Experience performing safety and reliability analyses (FMEA, FTA, etc.)
  • Knowledge of airworthiness and safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and deliver technical work packages
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, including customer-facing experience
  • Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering , or equivalent military experience .
  • Experience working within safety-critical or regulated environments
  • Proven experience in safety, reliability, or systems engineering roles
  • Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with DO-160, ARP4754, and ARP4761 standards
  • Experience with power generation or control systems within aerospace
  • Exposure to system safety assessment processes
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams

As a RAMS Engineer, you will join our team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector. You will play a key role in ensuring aircraft systems meet airworthiness requirements by providing expertise in safety, reliability, and maintainability . Working across both in-service and new development programmes, you will influence system design and support certification through detailed analysis and documentation within a highly regulated environment. Location: Bristol On Site: 2-3 days per week Clearance: Eligibility for UK Security Clearance Experience Level: Mid- Senior
