JOB DESCRIPTION: Position Summary: The Director, Diversion and Specialty Services provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for behavioral health diversion, specialty and family court, and forensic behavioral health services across Centerstone's Florida market. This position oversees assigned service lines through program managers and is responsible for program performance, financial stewardship, compliance, community partnerships, and the development and expansion of assigned service lines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Organize managers, staff, and program resources to provide quality services within the scope of program contracts and service expectations. Ensure continuity, coordination, and collaboration across assigned diversionary, specialty court, family court, and other related specialty programs. Communicate with internal and external partners to effectively meet the needs of justice-involved programs and support system collaboration across Centerstone's Florida market. Participate in community meetings, staffing, and other events promoting system collaboration and community behavioral health awareness. Serve as liaison with Program Managers; prepare contract and grant applications, review contracts, and advocate for funding, program, and outcome changes. Maintain quality assurance standards by preparing for audits, monitoring performance outcome measures, overseeing contracts, and providing input on budgets. Provide ongoing leadership, support, and oversight to managers to promote high quality services and strengthen supervisory effectiveness. Organize and conduct staff meetings and training as needed and appropriate. Perform administrative tasks including completing performance appraisals of direct reports, reviewing and revising policies and procedures, and supporting program compliance. Monitor documentation compliance and develop and implement procedures to improve operational and regulatory performance. Supervisory Requirements: This position has supervisory responsibilities, which may include providing direction, training, coaching, and performance feedback in accordance with system policies. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to provide strong leadership and oversight across multiple program areas. Ability to understand and manage program budgets, contracts, and performance expectations. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills for reporting, collaboration, and communication with community partners and stakeholders.
