About the role
You will serve as a MUSEUM SPECIALIST (HISTORY) of NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Cataloging and accessioning historical artifacts, storing, cleaning, photographing and marking of artifacts; 2) Preparing collections and objects for storage and shipment, and conducting inventories and implementing inventory controls; and 3) Planning and rearranging storage spaces, revising operating procedures and devising improved storage/preservation methods.
