About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Delta level primary POC to the CC/Director(s) for all admin support programs to include but not limited to task management, DDR, LeaveWeb, updates via MilPDS, PROA, tracking/execution of military evals in myEval, CMS case management, military personnel awards via myDec, myFSS, various roster management in BLSDM, TMT Tasker Management for various CFC and Delta awards; assists in oversight of organization manpower resource requirements. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year or will have one year within 120 days of closing of this announcement, of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-02, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-07 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include experience in administrative support programs such as, Sexual Assault Representative (SAPR), Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel Systems (DTS) administrator, Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS), drug demand program, security program, civilian timecard program Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; AND experience assisting/supporting on military and civilian personnel issues and manpower resource requirements. OR EDUCATION: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college, or university. NOTE: You must submit a copy of official transcripts. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education past two years above high school and specialized experience directly related to the work of this position as outlined above that meets the requirements of the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of official transcripts. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of a military organization. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs. Knowledge of structure, programs and work methods of organization for military personnel/manning issues. 2. Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems. Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and posses the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines. Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization. 3. Actively contributes as team member; takes initiative to accomplished assigned projects. Identifies and pursues individual/team development opportunities. 4. Develops, modifies, and/or applies rules, procedures, or operations to resolve problems of moderate complexity/difficulty. Plans and conducts administrative activities for projects. 5. Communicates/presents internal administrative/functional procedures and tasks internally and externally. Prepares, coordinates, and consolidates documents, reports, or briefings. Plans and executes assignments; resolves problems and handles deviations. Organizes resources to achieve project schedules. Effectively accomplishes project within established resource guidelines. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
