Responsibilities

Education/Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in the inspection field or manufacturing using standard inspection equipment and prints to determine conformance to requirements ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or equivalent experience preferred. Certification should be acquired within one year of employment in this position Essential Functions, Knowledge and Competencies Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more), frequent bending and twisting Must have vision correctable to 20/20 Ability to distinguish color Thorough understanding of GD & T, including formal training Understand the use and limitations of standard inspection, measuring and test equipment Basic math skills Basic computer skills, preferably experience with Microsoft suite Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Must be available for all shifts Sufficient gage knowledge to support calibration, create quality documentation and support gage studies
