Responsibilities
- Ensure Safety is your #1 priority while on the premises and follow all safety rules, guidelines, and procedures while performing all job tasks
- Sort window plant cutoffs by color, inspecting for non-grindable contaminates
- Sort lineal scrap materials
- Assist with preventative maintenance of grinding equipment
- Operate fork truck as needed
- Operate pallet jack as needed
- Load and unload scrap trailers
- Maintain inventory systems accuracy (including basic math and data entry)
- Adhere to all SimEx Housekeeping standards
- Be a contributing member of your crew
- Assist other SimEx departments when needed
- Complete any other tasks assigned by your Supervisor
- Shift is currently Mon-Fri 6a - 2:30p, this is subject to change and could become a 2-2-3 schedule working 12 hour shifts.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to stand on concrete flooring for up to 12 hours a day
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl if necessary
- Ability to reach with hands and arms repetitively
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
