About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST (Configuration Management Deputy / Supervisory Team Lead) in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Systems Acquisition Group AND Program Management Dept of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. The duty location of this position is Arlington, VA. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band (NM-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage Aircraft and weapon systems acquisition in the areas of Configuration Management; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing Configuration Management policies and procedures at a high level (ACAT 1 level); 3) Managing project/program Configuration Management requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules and other resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; and 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult Configuration Management problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.
