Federal Work-Study positions are part-time positions hired each semester and are for current Ivy Tech students. The Enrollment Services Work-Study is critical in supporting the Enrollment Services team and enhancing the overall student experience. This position is ideal for students who wish to develop strong administrative, communication, and customer service skills while contributing to the success of their peers. The Enrollment Services Work-Study will provide clerical and administrative support, assist with scheduling and organizing events, give tours of the campus, and help students navigate enrollment processes. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Student Support: Greet students and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service. Giving tours to prospective students and sending personal notes to prospective students after tours. Direct students to appropriate resources or departments for additional academic or student support services. Office Organization & Clerical Tasks: Maintain tidy and organized office spaces, ensuring all enrollment and admission materials are up to date and accessible. Prepare and distribute newsletters, flyers, or event announcements about enrollment events and services. Assist in Mailing letters to prospective students, organizing and responding to returned mailings, and making campus visit packets. Special Projects & Event Support: Provide support for enrollment & admissions office outreach efforts, including creating promotional materials and managing event logistics.
