Architectural Leadership & Collaborative Decision Making Architecture-Led Discovery: Lead the technical discovery phase of new initiatives by facilitating workshops with cross-functional teams to uncover requirements, identify constraints, and challenge assumptions. Option Analysis & Recommendation: Critically evaluate multiple technical pathways, documenting the trade-offs, costs, and risks of each to provide a clear, value-based recommendation. Now let's talk about you: Supply Chain & Forecasting: Exceptional, hands-on experience and functional knowledge in Retail Supply Chain technologies, specifically Forecasting and Replenishment systems. ERP Integration: Extensive proven experience supporting large-scale ERP programs from a Retail architecture perspective. RFP & Options Analysis : Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate vendor solutions, draft high-quality architectural options papers, and present definitive recommendations. Governance Navigation: Deep experience partnering directly with vendors on system design and successfully navigating those designs through an Architecture Review Board (ARB). The "Influential Architect" : Ability to lead discovery workshops, facilitate technical trade-off discussions, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders. Strategic Communication: Ability to pivot communication styles - discussing API specs with developers one hour and presenting high-level value to Business Leads the next. Decisiveness : A history of making firm architectural decisions, backed by logic, data, and a focus on long-term maintainability. Experience working in agile, product-led delivery environments Desirable Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. Architecture Frameworks: Strong working knowledge of TOGAF or similar frameworks, with the ability to apply these principles pragmatically within an Agile delivery environment. Agile Methodology: Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or Scrum, specifically the role of architectural runway in supporting sprint-based delivery .
