Registered Nurse Complex Care Center

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with complex, chronic conditions
• Perform clinical assessments, triage, and care coordination across multidisciplinary teams
• Support patients with tracheostomies, ventilators, G-tubes, and other medical technologies
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on disease management and home care needs
• Collaborate with providers and specialists to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
• Office duties, including paperwork and form completion , p hone triage
• Preferred Experience
• Recent inpatient critical care experience
• Experience in areas such as: Complex Airway, Transitional Care Center,
• Emergency Department
• Ambulatory clinic experience with similar patient populations, including:
• Tracheostomy care, Gastrostomy tube (G-tube) management, Multi-system, medically complex conditions

Complex Care Center Registered Nurse II or III, Non-Acute Shift/Hours: TBD hours/week Final compensation based on years of relevant nursing experience. About the Complex Care Center The Complex Care Center (CCC) provides comprehensive primary care for children with complex chronic medical conditions at our Burnet and Liberty campuses. Our patients often have multiple diagnoses and may be technology-dependent, requiring supports such as home ventilation or tube feedings to maintain daily function and quality of life. We care for patients from birth through adolescence-supporting families with everything from acute illness visits to routine check-ups and immunizations-while delivering highly coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
