Job Title : Senior Product Engineer- Hydraulic Systems & Production Support Reporting To: Product & Supply Chain Engineering Manager (Ops Support) Work Schedule: Hybrid - Tewkesbury, GBR We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join our Aircraft Control Components team in Tewkesbury - a technically demanding environment where you'll work across the full lifecycle of complex aerospace hydraulic and mechanical assemblies, from production floor issues through to design and process improvement. This isn't a desk role. You'll be the person the production and test teams come to when something needs resolving, and you'll have the authority and the cross-functional access to actually fix it - not just escalate it. You'll also shape the standards, procedures, and technical documentation that underpin how we build and test our products and provide direction to engineers earlier in their careers. The work spans assembly and test process development, non-conformance investigation, PRB and MRB activity, supplier and customer liaison, and leading product and process changes - across our UK sites and occasionally internationally. What you'll actually be doing Acting as a technical focal point for complex production, assembly, and test issues Analysing production data to identify efficiency, cost, yield, and quality improvements Leading investigations into production issues, ensuring rapid containment and prevention of recurrence Creating, developing, and approving assembly and test standards, procedures, and documentation Leading product and process changes to improve system performance and customer outcomes Supporting non-conformance, PRB and MRB activities across UK and international sites Specifying and supporting new test equipment and working closely with sustainment and test teams Providing technical justification for product integrity investigations and liaising with suppliers and customers Technical approval for product support documentation. Demonstrate competency for providing advice and technical direction for peers and junior staff.
