Job Title: Enhanced Social Worker - MASH Team Location: Normanton Pay Rate: £35 per hour Job Description: Liquid Personnel is seeking a skilled and experienced Enhanced Senior Social Worker to join our client's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) on a part-time basis located at Wakefield. This is a critical frontline role where you will work closely with partner agencies to screen and assess incoming referrals, ensuring timely and appropriate safeguarding responses for children and families across the district. This role is ideal for a confident and analytical practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment and is committed to delivering high-quality safeguarding decisions. What will your responsibilities be? Work collaboratively with partner agencies to screen and triage incoming referrals within the MASH. Analyse multi-agency information to assess risk and determine appropriate levels of intervention or service. Make timely and evidence-based recommendations for next steps, including thresholds for statutory involvement. Provide professional oversight and guidance to colleagues and contribute to decision-making processes. Ensure all decisions and actions are clearly recorded in line with statutory and local procedures. Maintain a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, thresholds, and local protocols. Contribute to the continuous improvement of MASH processes and promote best practice in safeguarding. Participate in multi-agency discussions and strategy meetings as required.
