About the role

STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost-effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments. We're focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems-not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe-today. The proliferation of low-cost UAS has fundamentally changed the threat landscape, and STARK is building the system that counters it. As Product Manager for our C-UAS C2 software suite, you will own the vision and execution of the central intelligence layer connecting sensor networks to effector tasking. Your mandate is clear: compress the DTIM loop, reduce operator cognitive load, and ship a product that works when lives depend on it. Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the C-UAS C2 software suite, spanning sensor integration, automated threat classification, effector tasking, and battle damage assessment Translate operational requirements from end-users, customers, and internal stakeholders into actionable software specifications, user stories, and feature definitions Manage and prioritise the product backlog with a relentless focus on shortening engagement timelines and reducing decision burden on the operator Define requirements for multi-sensor fusion (Radar, RF, EO/IR) and guide the productisation of AI/ML models for real-time threat classification at the edge Shape STARK's open architecture strategy, driving compliance with military C2 standards including MOSA/SOSA, OMS/UCI, and Link 16 for seamless third-party integration Serve as the primary voice of the user, conducting regular engagement with operators and customers to validate concepts and ensure product direction reflects real-world mission demands Present roadmap, priorities, and trade-off decisions to both technical teams and executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence 5+ years of product management experience, with substantial exposure to defence, aerospace, or mission-critical enterprise C2 software Demonstrable experience with sensor-to-effector or DTIM-aligned workflows in operational or near-operational environments Working knowledge of military C2 standards and architectures, MOSA, SOSA, OMS/UCI, Link 16, and the hardware/software integration challenges they address Hands-on experience defining requirements for and productising AI/ML capabilities, particularly for classification, fusion, or decision support applications Proven ability to own a product roadmap from concept through delivery, including backlog management and prioritisation under resource constraints Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a national security clearance Excellent communication skills in English. German or any other european language will be a plus. Direct experience with C-UAS programmes or air defence C2 systems in a customer, operator, or developer capacity Familiarity with EW effector integration or directed energy / kinetic defeat systems Exposure to ITAR/EAR-controlled programme environments Experience in a scaling defence startup or transition from prime to product-led organisation
