TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE GS-11 LEVEL YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9) in Federal service that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience includes providing operational oversight and directing medical administration programs in a medical center/healthcare facility; interpreting policies, directives, and laws; develops operating budget, supply management and equipment needs; organizing, planning and directing work; supervising and evaluating the work of subordinates; and making improvement recommendations to leadership. We will not make assumptions regarding experience.) -OR- EDUCATION: Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.
