About the role
The Department of Politics at the University of Liverpool is seeking to recruit two lectureships (T&R) in Politics and/or International Relations. The appointments represent continued investment in the Department, underpinned by recent growth in student numbers. The posts reflect strategic Department, School, Faculty and University research priorities. You will contribute to teaching and research in the Department, be expected to play a part in research and other research related activities in the School, and to undertake administrative roles within the Department, School, and University as appropriate, in line with the University of Liverpool's Strategy 2031. The Department welcomes applications from all areas of the discipline and diverse methodological approaches but particularly encourages applications from scholars with regional specialisms including, but not limited to, Central and Eastern Europe and Russia, as well as individuals with research interests in environmental politics, the political sociology of nationalisms, and the political analysis of inequalities. An ability to teach methods, qualitative or quantitative, would be an advantage.
