Responsibilities

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree preferably in Business or Communications related fields
  • At least 10 - 12 years in a Communication role with at least 4 years in a supervisory role
  • Working experience in both in-house/corporate and agency, desirable
  • Campaign planning experience and disciplined project management
  • Gets strategy, and demonstrates creativity
  • Versatile and confident writer, experienced writing for different formats and channels
  • Interest in AI, data and analytics, digital platforms and content - their applications in comms, and implications to comms.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE The Assistant Director (Media and Publications) of the Corporate Communications Department shall develop strategies to shape and brand Changi General Hospital (CGH) positively as a caring hospital trusted by patients and staff, renowned for its clinical excellence and innovation. He/she shall cultivate relationships and build rapport with key internal stakeholders as well as with editors/journalists to garner positive media coverage for the hospital. He/she is also a key team member in leading crisis communications and issues management and will extend communications-related counsel and support to CGH Senior Management and CGH spokespeople during issues and crises. He/she will support public education communications efforts across integrated communications platforms, focusing on strategic CGH initiatives, and providing guidance and working with various stakeholders to align the narrative and messaging for CGH.
