Director - Retail Consulting

About the role

You'll play a key role in shaping and growing the Retail practice, working closely with senior stakeholders across major retail clients to deliver business and technology transformation programmes. The position combines: Client leadership and account growth Consulting delivery oversight Business development and solution shaping Senior stakeholder engagement Team leadership and practice development You'll be responsible for developing trusted client relationships, identifying new opportunities within existing accounts, and leading the delivery of large-scale transformation initiatives across areas such as: Operating model transformation Digital and technology change Customer and experience transformation Supply chain and operational improvement Data, analytics and AI-led initiatives Change and programme delivery What We're Looking For Strong background within a Management Consultancy, Big 4, or Transformation Consultancy environment Proven experience delivering consulting engagements within the Retail or Consumer Goods sector Track record of managing and growing senior client relationships Experience leading large-scale transformation programmes Strong commercial acumen with experience driving revenue growth within accounts Ability to lead cross-functional consulting teams and develop high-performing talent Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills Experience contributing to proposals, bids, and solution sales Requirements Must come from a consulting / advisory background Retail industry consulting experience is essential Able to work from either London or Manchester offices Full right to work in the UK required Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this position Package £100,000 - £135,000 base salary Performance bonus Private healthcare Pension Flexible benefits package Hybrid working model Clear progression opportunities within a growing consulting practice If you're looking for a leadership opportunity where you can influence both client strategy and practice growth within a high-performing consulting environment, we'd be keen to speak further.
