Sonographer

About the role

We're looking for experienced Sonographers across all specialties - abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, musculoskeletal, and more - to join a well-respected diagnostic imaging team in Alaska on a three-year contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across relevant specialties
• Analyze images for technical quality and communicate findings to radiologists
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Operate and care for ultrasound equipment to a high standard
• Provide a calm, reassuring experience for patients during procedures
• Adhere to radiation safety (where applicable), infection control, and HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Australia, Canada, or USA for equivalency)
• ARDMS or equivalent certification in relevant specialty area(s)
• Minimum 24 months of recent sonography experience
• English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
• Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of 3 years
