Ashland has an exciting opportunity as Regional Marketing Manager of our Biofunctionals Business Line within Ashland 's Personal Care business in EMEA. This is a very visible, significant role within Ashland and the personal care business. This position will report to the Global Marketing Manager for Biofunctionals The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Regional market intelligence Monitor and analyze regional market trends, competitors, and customer brands (incl. customer segmentation) to identify regional market gaps and opportunities, and better anticipate and meet customer needs Feed insights back to global marketing manager and marketing team to refine strategy Regional strategy & execution Define and execute the regional marketing plan aligned with global strategy Play an active role in regional network, associations, industry events, conferences Adapt portfolio priorities and product focus to regional needs Product & portfolio management Adapt global positioning and messaging to EMEA markets Contribute to regional portfolio strategy (relaunches, focus products, pricing inputs) Innovation & new product introduction (NPI) Act as Marketing Lead for regional innovation projects or delegated global innovation projects Define marketing concepts, target segments, and value propositions Lead regional product launches, associated campaigns & training, and cross-regional roll-out Coordinate and execute regional previews with sales teams Campaigns & content localization Adapt and deploy global campaigns at regional level Develop regional content and communication plans Select relevant media channels and activation tactics Launch execution Lead regional rollout of product launches (including customer previews) Adapt messaging to local market expectations Commercial support & engagement Provide marketing tools and training to regional sales teams and distributors Support customer communication, presentations, and webinars Define customer segmentation in the region and strategies to maximize commercial impact Tradeshows & regional activation Identify and manage regional tradeshows and events (congress...) Define featured products and ensure effective execution In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: Bachelor's degree in cosmetic sciences or equivalent 2+ years of experience in marketing (and/or commercial) role - preferably in the designated region Strong understanding of marketing strategy development and execution, market and trend research, customer segmentation, communication channel mix Excellent communication skills, talent for building strong networks within Ashland but also with potential customers and external partners Self-driven and tenacious with strong project management skills Willingness to travel in the region - 20% The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit: Experience working in the personal care market Project management skills Fluent in English In more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
