THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. NEW MEXICO AIR NATIONAL GUARD NATIONWIDE. All members of the New Mexico Air National Guard or current Active Duty/Reserve military members eligible and wiling to become members of the New Mexico Air National Guard This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, Position Description Number D2284P01 and is part of the NM 150th SOW Maintenance Group, National Guard. Military Grades: Enlisted (E-7 to E-8) Compatible Military Assignments: AFSC: 2AX7X or 2A590 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months of specialized working experiences in performing, training and/or supervising assigned integrated systems repair and maintenance work operations. Must have working and training experiences in the maintenance, repair, and modification of integrated multi-complex avionics systems. Skilled in planning tasks for subordinate workers and expanded knowledge in using the equipment, facilities and materials. Skilled in meeting deadlines, in using time management to satisfy priorities and work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by higher level supervisors. Experiences included redirecting individual workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work. Skilled in articulating work requirements to higher level supervisors and experienced in planning current and future work schedules, budget requests, staffing needs, estimates, and recommending projected work. Competent in researching and addressing work related problems such as, excessive costs or low productivity; and, determining the relevant causes. Experiences included implementing corrective actions, within authority, to resolve work problems. Must have the skill and knowledge to plan work and manage leave schedules. Capabilities included the ability to determine the types and levels of training needs, along with providing mentorship and guidance to subordinates for their professional skill and knowledge improvements.
