Delivery of production materials and supplies to a production area to ensure continuous operations of processes and machines. Tasks include identifying, labeling and placing materials in stock; recording location of material, pulling and verifying material listed in production orders; delivering and opening materials; recording units delivered and location units. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, organizing materials in the warehouse, operating forklift and other handling equipment, tracking inventory levels, ensuring materials are available on the production floor as needed, receiving and inspecting incoming materials, storing and organizing inventory, retrieving and packaging materials for shipment, documenting deliveries and ensuring correct items are shipped.
