Responsibilities

  • Oversee payroll review to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory and internal requirements
  • Provide guidance on Malaysian labour laws, HR policies, and best practices
  • Lead and support internal and external HR audits and manage foreign worker administration

  • Maintain HR records, reports, and ensure effective HR service delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or relevant field (HR certification preferred)
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, ideally in manufacturing or fast-paced environments
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and labour/union relations
  • Experience handling payroll reviews, HR audits, IR cases, and full HR lifecycle processes
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ability to manage sensitive matters
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service quality
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, databases, and reporting/metrics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and leadership
  • Experience working in regional or APAC HR environments
  • Exposure to HR transformation, standardisation, or centralisation initiatives
  • Experience managing foreign worker administration and compliance
  • Familiarity with engagement, wellbeing, and culture-building programs
