Brown & Brown, Inc. is looking for a talented Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing Regional HR team. This position will provide support to multiple offices in the Northeast Region and drive a culture of success through promoting positive teammate experiences, engagement and retention, while implementing efficient processes and complying with employment policies and practices. General Responsibilities: Provide support of day-to-day operations regarding all matters pertaining to the life cycle of the teammate including but not limited to recruitment, benefits, employee relations, performance management, leave administration, terminations, and legal compliance. Participate in recruitment efforts where needed, including coordinating position requests, maximizing systems, sourcing, interviewing, and facilitating placement of qualified candidates. Prepare new hire offer documents and process requests for pre-employment post-offer requirements; facilitate communication with hiring leaders and candidates. Coordinate the new teammate's first day orientation and prepare required documents. Support engagement through the life cycle of the teammate. Collaborate with other members of team to facilitate responses of teammate inquiries. Participate in learning sessions that promote the professional development of teammates and team leaders. Ensure proper coding for HRIS data management in relation to teammate records, including but not limited to employment status, compensation, and compliance. Exercise working knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws (FLSA, FMLA/PFL, ADAAA, EEOC, HIPPA, etc.) Support profit centers by following best practices for file maintenance, data retention, and employment notices. Build a network of enterprise-wide peers; collaborate best practices. Promote teamwork, support, knowledge sharing and a positive attitude within the department, the region and profit centers. Promote a commitment to achieve or exceed internal performance standards. Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information, new product development, legislation, insurance programs, and technology including professional development. All other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Work experience in an office or customer service environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of use of business equipment
