About the role

Scope of Work - Design and develop STIS (Station Travel Information System ) software using C# and C++ (mandatory). - Develop reusable tools for display template configuration and customization. - Implement interfaces with displays (TVs/monitors) and railway systems (Signalling, ISCS). - Ensure reliable, fault-tolerant data exchange across networked systems. - Support integration, testing, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting. - Collaborate with hardware and system teams; adhere to engineering processes and standards. Resource Expectations - Strong root-cause analysis mindset; investigate defects deeply , not symptomatically. - Preventive approach; implement measures to avoid recurrence of issues. - Proactive ownership; anticipate risks and act early with minimal supervision. - Resourceful problem-solving using available tools and collaboration. - Continuous improvement; propose enhancements to system design, performance, and processes. Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 5-7 years in software development. - Experience in HMI/display systems; railway/mission-critical exposure is advantageous . Technical Skills - Proficiency in C# and C++ - Excellent SQL database skills (schema design, query optimization, performance tuning, troubleshooting). - Networking: TCP/IP, HTTPS, RS232. - Windows environment expertise (configuration, deployment, PowerShell scripting). - Proficiency in Git (branching, merging, reviews) and JIRA (task/defect tracking). - Experience with AI coding tools to enhance productivity, quality, and debugging.
