Data Analyst

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Economics.
• 3 plus years of relevant experience in an analytical or data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL/Snowflake, including the ability to write basic to intermediate queries, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Python is required, including familiarity with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience working with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
• Basic understanding of finance and economics; knowledge of fixed income markets is an added advantage.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow orchestration tools such as Prefect (or similar platforms) is a plus.
• Highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter, ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into insights - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across functions

Group Details As a Data Analyst, you will be part of Tradeweb's Reporting & Analytics team, supporting the delivery of high-impact, data-driven insights, metrics, and recommendations related to trading activity on the Tradeweb platform. You will work closely with senior analysts on the team and internal stakeholders to help transform large, complex datasets into actionable insights that inform product development, reporting, and business decisions. We are seeking a detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and results-driven professional with a strong interest in data, analytics, and financial markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in SQL and Python, along with a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience. This role requires a high level of accountability, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills to effectively present analytical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Job Responsibilities - Respond to queries and questions from internal teams in their data needs - regarding activities on Tradeweb Markets trading platform and in fixed income markets - Conduct empirical analysis on fixed income trading and market trends with guidance from more senior members of the team - Assist in producing client-facing and regulatory reports, dashboards, and recurring metrics on platform usage and trading behavior - Contribute analysis that helps guide the development of new analytics, content, and product features supporting investment and trading decisions - Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and standardized reporting assets - Present analytical findings through clear written summaries, visuals, and presentations tailored to the audience - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all analytical deliverables
