Join the AWS Payments & Fraud Prevention team as the Senior Product Manager - External Services, where you'll own the fraud prevention strategy for AWS Marketplace and agentic commerce flows. We're seeking a product leader to own fraud prevention strategy across both AWS Marketplace and agentic commerce-two critical and rapidly evolving domains. You'll architect next-generation fraud prevention for AWS, partnering with data science teams to build and deploy risk evaluation systems that protect traditional marketplace transactions and emerging AI agent-driven commerce flows where conventional account-based controls prove insufficient. Key job responsibilities AWS Marketplace Fraud Prevention Own end-to-end fraud prevention strategy for AWS Marketplace. Create risk evaluation systems that analyze buyer/seller registration, behavioral, and transactional signals to enable quick fraud detection. Partner with data science and engineering to continuously improve detection accuracy and reduce fraudulent activity. Agentic Commerce Fraud Prevention Pioneer fraud prevention for AI agent-driven commerce flows-a greenfield problem space where traditional account-level controls are insufficient. Identify unique risk signals for agent-initiated transactions, build evaluation frameworks that balance fraud prevention with customer friction Product Strategy & Iteration Drive product evolution through data-driven decision making. Synthesize quantitative performance metrics-fraud rates, chargeback rates, false positive rates, and enforcement accuracy-with qualitative feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities. Define product roadmaps that balance fraud prevention effectiveness with user experience. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with Identity, AWS Marketplace, Finance, Legal, and Commerce Platform teams to drive decision making. Influence without authority across engineering, science, and product organizations. Represent Marketplace and agentic commerce fraud prevention efforts in executive-level reviews.
