IT Business Analyst

Requirements

• Education : Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, information technology, computer science, or related field.
• Experience : 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience with business systems analysis, including system development, system configuration, business process analysis, and project management.
• Skills & Licensing : Business Analyst certification (e.g. IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) a plus.

Job Description: We are looking to add an IT Business Analyst to join our Information Technology team in West Des Moines, IA . Essential Responsibilities: Lead medium to large, complex initiatives with minimal supervision through: Partnering with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements. Translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Reviewing end-to-end process analysis, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities. Facilitating requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution discussions. Acting as a primary liaison between business, technology teams, and vendors. Ensuring alignment of solutions to business strategy and objectives. Supporting solution design by collaborating with architects and developers. Driving traceability from requirements through delivery and testing. Participating actively in testing strategy, test case definition, and validation of outcomes. Identifying and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies. Ensuring clear and consistent communication across stakeholders at multiple levels. Facilitating conflict resolution and stakeholder alignment in ambiguous situations.
