Responsibilities

- Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 4+ years of payroll experience with strong hands-on, in-house Mexico payroll processing (mandatory)
- Solid knowledge of Mexico payroll regulations, compliance, controls, and audit processes
- Experience supporting multi-country / LATAM payroll operations (Peru is a plus)
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll operations, including data validation, reconciliations, issue resolution, reporting, and ability to manage multiple deadlines with high accuracy and ownership
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors (HR, Accounting, Shared Services)
- Familiarity with OpenHR (preferred), Workday, and HRIS/payroll systems, including exposure to Intermex population
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement mindset, with excellent communication skills and advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
- Flexibility to collaborate across LATAM time zones (up to 3-hour difference)
