Account Director, Media Sales (Southwestern Ontario Region)

Responsibilities

• This role will be based in and responsible for local and agency sales within the Kitchener/Waterloo/London market and surrounding area. This is a hybrid position with occasional travel to our Toronto office when required.
• Proactively contact key decision makers in the Ontario market through outbound calls, emails, in person meetings, social networks, etc. to extend existing client base
• Build, maintain and grow a robust prospect database
• Develop relationships with current, lapsed and new clients
• Adopt thoughtful and resourceful strategies to meet or exceed assigned sales targets. Participate in weekly meetings and provide weekly call planning, and reporting, as required
• Ensure that all prospective clients, their programs, products, and advertising media reflect and support the image and values of the Cineplex brand
• Understand and communicate advertising products inside and out - have a clear and persuasive 30 sec elevator pitch on each product, and the overall integrated platforms
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our theatre, mall, and recreational networks, as well as our digital, data, and new products
• Work closely with our media solutions and production teams to manage the sales process from request for proposal to final sign off, implementation, and post reporting

Requirements

• Post Secondary education ideally in Sales, Marketing, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in media sales with a focus on new business development, client management and territory growth
• Experience with local Ontario clients and agencies
• Video, OOH, Cinema and Digital sales experience is preferred
• Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle, as this role will involve regular travel within Ontario
• Strong communication (both written and spoken), negotiating skills, and solution-oriented
• Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

• Commission + $80,000 - $90,000CAD
