We are passionate about maritime efficiency, safety and sustainability practices.What makes RightShip a great place to work at:This role offers challenges across a wide variety of projects and responsibilities, including the opportunity to influence the future direction of the department and systems used across the business.Major ResponsibilitiesFollow and evolve QA processes to ensure the use of industry-accepted best practices.Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures including regressions tests.Ensure effective and efficient application of test processes and tools using techniques such as White box, Grey Box, Black box, Test-to-Pass, Test-to-FailTroubleshoot and investigate defects for the software applications.Report defects found during testing using Jira as a defect tracking tool.Conduct new functionality and regression tests, determine and report issues for follow-up.Collaborate with the business to assess or diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions.Support end users during User Acceptance Testing phase.Build and maintain good communication with all stakeholders involved in the SDLC while working close with them during the different phases.Additional ResponsibilitiesPrior experience as a Scrum Master is not required, although it would be considered an advantage. What is essential is a willingness to learn and develop Scrum facilitation skills with the support and guidance of peers.Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years working in a similar roleExperience in software business analysis and/or software quality assurance.Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).Good understanding of using Postman or similar tools for testing APIsAbility to troubleshoot isHealth insurance
