Role and Responsibilities As a Primary Homeroom Teacher, you play a vital role in the development and education of our students. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in Language and Literature, Mathematics, Science, and PSHE, aligned with the British curriculum, and foundation subjects taught through the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) or International Primary Curriculum (IPC). Working collaboratively with specialist language teachers, as students receive daily lessons in Dutch, French, language and maths support, Music and PE. Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment by effectively managing behaviour and promoting active engagement, grounded in the IPC Personal Goals, international mindedness, and collaborative learning strategies. Differentiating learning to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of all students. Providing regular, constructive feedback to students and maintaining strong partnerships with parents. Communicating consistently with parents via the school's online platform (Seesaw) and during parent-teacher meetings. Participating in playground and lunchtime duties, staff meetings, after-school commitments, and occasional evening or school-wide events. Collaborating closely with colleagues to support student wellbeing and contribute to a cohesive school community. Role and Responsibilities A Bachelor of Education or a Bachelor's degree with a PGCE (or equivalent qualification) in Primary Education. Proven experience teaching English, Mathematics, and Science to native-level English-speaking students. Experience with phonics, White Rose Maths, Talk for Writing, Hamilton Trust, UK-style curricula, IEYC, or IPC is an advantage. Strong classroom management skills with a commitment to positive behaviour support and inclusion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence using Google Workspace and strong ICT skills (Apple environment). A clear commitment to safeguarding and child protection, including willingness to undergo all required background and compliance checks. A collaborative mindset and commitment to working in a diverse, inclusive, and respectful international environment. Our Offer An employment contract commencing 1 August 2026. Contract terms aligned with the candidate's residency status, subject to the discretion of the management team. A competitive monthly salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
