About the role

Job Responsibilities: Preparation of QA/QC documents and ITPs and implementation in the projects. Review technical requirements, inspection plans, and project documentation to support efficient execution and proper quality assurance. Liaise with clients, contractors, surveyors, and internal teams regarding technical matters, work progress, and project coordination. Oversee and manage daily operational, technical, and project-related activities for shipbuilding, ship repair, and offshore structure conversion works. Supervise site teams, allocate manpower, monitor work progress, and ensure completion of projects within required specifications and timelines. QA/QC Management and Audit management Performing inspections as per the ITP and Project procedures and specifications. Follow up with Audit finding closeouts andNCRs follow up and close outs. Involving Welding inspection, WQT and WPSqualifications Controlling Painting and coating inspectionsfor piping, Structure and equipment with help of painting inspectors. Vendor package management in terms of materialinspection, Fabrication, welding, NDT and painting activities Involving FAT and final inspection for thepackages and issue release notes. Witnessing Hydro test for piping systems andvessels Involving load testing for all kinds oflifting appliances. Liaising with Third party Inspection agenciesand classification societies for QA/QC related matters Preparation of final documentation Additional knowledge in NDT Involving Validation for different types of joints and materials. Making Scan plan and interpretation for various types of UT Inspection. UT Inspection on Weld scanning (Carbon Steel, Duplex Etc.) Corrosion mapping, Surface, HIC Crack Detection Etc. Ultrasonic inspection with Normal, TR, Anglebeam, TR Angle probes in welding (Carbon Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex Etc,). Familiar in TCG &DAC method with SDH,NOTCH, FBH. Experience i n defect identification &classifying the type of Defects& Acceptance as per standard. Report preparation and to manage all about technical problem's Review the Inspection and Test Plan, NDT Procedures as per the codes& Client requirements. Implementation and involving Internal, External Audit. Conducting safety and internal training, Examination. Familiar with International codes& standards such as AWSD1.1 ASME Sec V, VIII, B31.3, DNV-OS -C401, API. Briefing the codes& Standards to the NDT Inspectors. NDT Inspection in FPSO, FSO and Various types of ships, Pressure vessel, Turret, End plates, Radial Gate, in take Gate. Thickness Measurement in pipelines and boilers, Furnaces, storage Tanks, vessels. MPI&DPT test in all kind of weld and IN fabrication works. Familiar in Hardness, PMI, Ferrite Inspection. Maintaining daily reports and co-ordination with clients. Carry out NDT inspection on Equipment Foundations, Bolt Tie Down and Torque check, etc. All rotating equipment installation/alignments, mechanical completion, clear punch list. Inspection on Installation of Main Engines, Generators, Mechanical ventilation Systems, Steering Gear Systems, Air Conditioning Systems and Winches, Derrick & etc. Raw material inspection - Review of Test certificates with respect to Standards & P.O Witnessing Mechanical test in laboratories -Tensile, Impact, Hardness & Bend test. Witnessing the pressure test, flushing and chemical cleaning piping system. Carrying out inspection on GRP material during and after installation as per code. Preparation and submitted dossiers for handover to operations. Keeping track of all generated Quality documents for the project and final compilation. Prepare and issue Inspection Reports and NCRs' Inspection of piping from the early stage of spool fabrication to line check, hydro test, chemical cleaning &reinstatement, till the final stage of color-coding and valve tagging. To conduct the factory acceptance test due to equipment delivery (FAT) HVAC Material Received inspection and vender certificates documents (VCD) verifications. Inspection of HVAC equipment site construction activities testing adjusting and balancing of system as per applicable vendor requirements and standards. Inspect accordance with approved drawing speciation and installation procedure and material storage procedure is properly implemented./ Inspection on ducting lining insulation of the air-conditioning system
