About the role
The Food Services Dishwasher is responsible for all sanitation and inventory stock duties according to regulatory standards and Food & Nutrition policy/procedure. Ensures a neat, clean and safe work environment is maintained. Follows proper body mechanics and can demonstrate knowledge and competency in the proper use of all cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Delivers patient trays to nursing units within established time limits so there will be minimal temperature loss and patients will be fed at required times. Demonstrates flexibility and reliability when meeting the needs of the customer.
- Demonstrates the ability to use time effectively and during periods of heavy workload, is able to aid other workers in the completion of their work.
Requirements
- Education
- High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred)
- 1 year Food Service Experience (Preferred)
- Licenses and Certifications
- Food Handlers Card (FH) - VA State - ANSI-approved Food Handlers certificate program within 30 Days(Required)
