About the role
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and delivering exceptional customer service across a dedicated territory. You will play a key role in developing both the Professional (hospital), Maternity & NICU, and B2C segments, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and retail partners while maximising revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Maximise sales revenue and profitability across the B2C, Medela Professional Care and Maternity & NICU product portfolio.
- Achieve national and territory sales targets and increase market share.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across healthcare and retail sectors.
- Implement effective sales strategies and tactics aligned with company objectives.
- Maintain and execute a structured territory business plan.
- Manage and grow existing accounts to ensure long-term business retention.
- Build high-level relationships with key stakeholders, including: Midwives, nurses, lactation consultants, neonatologists
- Healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Procurement managers, finance leads, and buyers
- Retail store managers
- Develop and implement detailed Customer Account Plans to drive business growth.
- Provide value-added services and ensure customer satisfaction across all accounts.
- Deliver product training and education within healthcare settings (e.g. NICU, maternity wards, healthcare centres).
- Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Build strong advocacy with key customers and partners.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within healthcare, medical devices, or retail.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills at all organisational levels.
- Ability to manage a territory independently while collaborating effectively.
- Commercial awareness with strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
