Responsibilities

  • Exercise exceptional judgment to advise and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Requirements

  • Qualified to practice law in either Germany or France, with strong academic credentials.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience either in-house at a technology company and/or within the technology practice of a leading law firm.
  • Significant experience drafting, reviewing, structuring, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including agreements governed by English and U.S. law.
  • Experience supporting technology, digital media, advertising technology, and/or privacy-related matters is strongly preferred.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build credibility, influence stakeholders, and develop strong working relationships across legal, business, and operational teams.
  • Strong business acumen with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to legal and commercial challenges.
  • Superior analytical skills, sound legal judgment, and a practical problem-solving mindset.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across countries, cultures, and functions in a highly international environment.
  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments.
  • Strong commitment to providing responsive, high-quality client service and practical business support.
  • Fluency in English is required, together with fluency in either German (for the Hamburg-based role) or French (for the Paris-based role).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (sense of humor is a big plus).

In this role, you will support strategic commercial initiatives, help drive complex customer and partner relationships, and advise on a broad range of legal and business matters. You must be able to exercise sound legal judgement in a fast-paced environment, work effectively across cultures and jurisdictions, and translate complex legal concepts into practical, business-focused solutions.
