Our Product Safety team is seeking a Mechanistic Toxicologist to be a technical expert in mechanistic biology or translational sciences within toxicology. Working in multi-disciplinary teams, you will apply your technical expertise to help invent new crop protection active ingredients. Key responsibilities will include: Contributing to the predictive and mechanistic toxicology expertise within Product Safety by providing expert knowledge in mammalian mechanistic biology or translational sciences. Delivering analyses of varied datasets to support the research and development of new Syngenta active ingredients, effectively presenting results, interpretations, and recommendations. Contributing to the design and management of mechanistic toxicology studies at contract research organisations (CROs), ensuring data quality supports Syngenta research and business decisions. Advancing scientific advocacy and strategic foresight by engaging in external activities and monitoring emerging toxicological and regulatory queries. Influencing the development of technical strategies and new approach methods to support research projects.
