About the role

You will serve as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (PLCYPLN) in the Command Information Office (CIO) of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. This position is the Supervisory Information Technology Program Manager for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) support. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Demonstrates experience in analyzing, installing, configuring, enhancing and/or maintaining the Information Technology (IT) components of Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS); 2) Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, and governance skills; 3) Possesses analysis, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills while working with a variety of departments and stakeholders who may have different goals for a project; 4) Manages or assists in the management of IT or Operational Technology (OT); and 5) Provides FRCS cybersecurity and/or IT expertise to facilities infrastructure projects through evaluation of system design, condition, constraints, future requirements, etc. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/2200/information-technology-it-management-series-2210-alternative-a/ OR https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/2200/information-technology-it-management-series-2210-alternative-b/ .
