The Financial Information Services Agency and the Office of Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) is seeking a Senior Enterprise Tools Administrator to support and maintain a wide array of agency-wide systems, applications, and tools, with a focus on IBM Rational ClearCase, IBM Rational Application Developer, OpenText Application Quality Management (AQM, formerly ALM/Quality Center), and UFT One. Reporting to the manager of Enterprise Systems, the candidate should be highly motivated, able to work autonomously, have good communication skills, and be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently. They will be expected to provide off-hours coverage for planned system and application upgrades,and participate in the troubleshooting of critical Production incidents with 24x7 availability. Primary Responsibilities: - ClearCase - VOB and view creation, branch setup, server administration, user administration and permissions, task scheduling, desktop and remote client installation/support, production support, user support, configuration and troubleshooting. Experience with upgrades, server migrations (VOBs, Views, Registry, Licensing), and related maintenance activities is highly desirable. - Rational Application Developer - Software installation (RAD, WebSphere, Liberty), administration, configuration, and troubleshooting. - Application Quality Management (AQM, formerly ALM/Quality Center) - Application administration, environment refreshes, data archiving and purging, management of add-ins, synchronization of test defects with other SDLC and change management tools, production support and troubleshooting. Experience with system upgrades and database migrations is a plus. - UFT One - Application and user administration, client installation, licensing, and maintenance of automated installation and upgrade scripts. Required Skills & Experience: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required - Minimum 10 years work experience managing and administering Enterprise tools and applications - Strong scripting skills, including batch scripting and Perl scripting - Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Configuration Management (SCM) - Strong knowledge of the Windows operating system - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases - Experience with implementation and configuration of SSL Certificates - Familiarity with the IBM Rational ClearQuest SDLC application - Familiarity with Linux operating systems (ClearCase environment is primarily Windows-based, with some Linux components) - Any Kubernetes/OpenShift/Containerization knowledge/experience is a plus Additional Qualifications: - Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently and prioritize work based on criticality. - Strong problem-solving (analytical and diagnostic) skills - Excellent oral and written communication - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment - Proven ability to provide high-quality customer support to a broad user base Additional Information P-464 The City of New York offers a comprehensive set of benefits and programs to employees, including health insurance, pension plan, Deferred Compensation Plan (with 457, 401K and Roth IRA options), pre-tax Commuter Benefit program, pre-tax Flexible Spending Accounts programs and more.
