Division Finance and Operations Department Facility Planning and Operations No. Direct Reports 0 Target Weekly Hours 40 Location 2807 N Glebe (Main Campus) Benefits Eligibility Yes JOB SUMMARY Working as part of the high-performance team, the successful candidate will utilize trade skills such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and light carpentry to maintain the integrity of all systems and the operation of campus buildings. The maintenance technician is expected to be able to perform tasks with minimal supervision and/or as part of a team. We are looking for an enthusiastic partner who thrives in a customer-focused environment. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Director and Assistant Director on various projects from painting to minor repairs relating to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems Performs daily inspections of the buildings and corrects any deficiencies. Performs scheduled maintenance of building systems. Performs repairs as needed on service work orders. Closes work order tickets using the Brightly CMMS software. OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS Performs outside inspections. Occasional overnight and/or on-call duties as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education 5 years of related experience. Knowledge of building repairs, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. Some maintenance functions involve elements of physical risk or stress that require extreme care and safety precautions.
