By fostering an engaging and supportive environment, you will build student confidence and inspire a love for the German language. ## YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES - **Instruction**: Teach German (Language and Literature and German Language Acquisition) to Primary School students (Grades 1 to 5) through the IBPYP framework. - **Development**: Support concept-based inquiry in German teaching and learning. Plan, assess, and report against clear learning outcomes. - **Inclusion**: Work in an inclusive environment with a diverse cohort of students and differentiate to accommodate individual learning needs. - **Support**: Promote student well-being in the German classroom and beyond. Demonstrate a strong belief that all students can succeed in the German language, building their confidence through the acquisition of foundational content, skills, and understandings. - **Collaboration**: Collaborate with colleagues, embrace opportunities for team teaching, and participate actively in the school's ambitious and dynamic community. ## YOUR QUALIFICATION - **Education**: Primary German Teaching certification. - **Experience**: PYP experience is preferable (not mandatory). - **Language**: Native-level fluency in German and highly proficient communication skills in English. - **Profile**: Energetic, internationally-minded, and proactive professional with a high level of initiative.
