About the role

Reporting to the Student Services Manager, you will lead a team of Student Services Officers to deliver high-quality support throughout the student journey. You will oversee the day-to-day operation of Student Services, ensuring students receive timely, accurate and professional assistance across key touchpoints including orientation, enrolment, progression and graduation. Working closely with academic and operational stakeholders, you will drive service excellence, identify opportunities for process improvement, and help create a positive and engaging experience for students. The role also plays an important part in maintaining the integrity of student records, monitoring service performance, supporting compliance requirements, and using student feedback and data insights to continuously enhance service delivery. Essential Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration or a related discipline Demonstrated leadership experience within the education sector, ideally within student services, administration or student support functions Experience leading, coaching and developing team members to achieve service excellence Strong understanding of student administration processes and compliance requirements Experience working with student management systems and maintaining accurate student records Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment Essential Skills Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills Strong organisational, planning and time management capabilities Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to analyse information, identify trends and implement improvements Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and student information systems Desirable Experience Previous experience within higher education or tertiary education environments Experience using student feedback and performance data to improve service outcomes Knowledge of student lifecycle activities including orientation, enrolment, progression and graduation processes Experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies Key Attributes Student-focused with a genuine commitment to enhancing the student experience Positive, approachable and collaborative leadership style Resilient, adaptable and solutions-focused Passionate about developing and supporting others Committed to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes Why Join Us?
