For our site in Geilenkirchen we are looking for an Instructor Flight Engineer (f/m/d) As Instructor Flight Engineer , the following tasks are key for the role: Operate the Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD's) and associated systems Provide the expertise to contribute for an effective and efficient use of the FSTD's capabilities and support military instructors to achieve this goal Instruct Students in checklist procedure and basic system knowledge in the FSTD's. Provide the full range in simulator scenario training aircrew members during all phases of training Conduct theoretical and practical training and augment Customer Training Organization as required Lead training and scenario development and review Instruct basic system knowledge, normal and emergency procedure training and student instructor familiarization training Support in planning, guiding and execution of simulated events, support distributed Simulator trainings Provide briefing and debriefing to trainee and lead the scheduling activities Maintain and update all required technical and operational publications and data provided by customer Contribute to further development of training program Provide demonstration during visits Provide and track data for training, training events, students performance and generic statistics Support the On-Site Manager as required Carry out additional tasks under direction Knowledge, Skills and Experience: A recent, thorough working knowledge of Flight Engineer responsibilities and duties related to wide body jet aircraft. A minimum of three (3) years and 1,000 flying hours experience as a Flight Engineer in the E-3, E-8 and/or Boeing 707. A minimum of one (1) year experience as an instructor Flight Engineer on E-3 and/or, E-8 aircraft. Eligibility is restricted to citizens of NATO member states. Eligible for NATO Security Clearance Excellent organization skills, including a sense of accuracy Strong communication skills across versatile customer groups Hands-on, pragmatic, and service-orientated Fluency in English
